Oh. My. Goodness. That’s all. I really only need to post pictures and not even write because the pictures speak a thousand words!!!! For a little background, Pic du Midi is a mountain in the French Pyrenees famous for its astronomical observatory. It is close to 9,500 ft and I went to the top! It took two, very steep, cable cars to reach it but we got up and down – phew! Honestly I did not expect that. It was unbelievable and we were able to spend most the afternoon up there taking in the views, seeing the conservatory, enjoying lunch – just wow! What an opportunity. Someone was looking out for us as it was kind of a chilly morning, almost rainy leaving Toulouse and going there and when we arrived, the clouds broke free and the sun was shining up until when we took the cable car down. I love seeing the snow when the sun is shining!

Wow! What an experience!
