in the details, darling | August 2019 Goals

August arrived faster than any other month yet! My summer schedule has been a full one + I am thankful to have this month without any travel plans. My recent travels have been so special celebrating my husband + visiting my family + friends but my weekends give me life + I have a routine (of course) to lead my into productive weeks so it’s nice to be able to have a quieter month from time to time. We have a lot of coffee dates + cozy movie nights in planned!

In other news…there is movement in my rebrand! This week I received the first round of my full website! It’s so, so exciting to see my vision come to life better than I could have imagined. Thanks to Abigail of Abigail Dyer Design! We are in the first round of edits but the end is in sight + I cannot wait to show it off!

So, let’s get to it! My July goals recap + August goals are below:

  1. Stop playing the comparison game…stay in my own lane! I accomplished this! I had a hard end of June (hence this goal). In July, I spent less time worrying about comparing + more taking action on aspects of my life + business I knew would give me the confidence I was lacking or give me something I would be proud to put out there.

  2. Build out my content calendar for the next 3 months. Email marketing + blogging calendar done! Instagram + Facebook I am still working through.

  3. Drink a gallon of water a day! Yes! It was SO beneficial for my energy levels!

Let me preference this + say that all my goals this month are about balance. I have been making this a priority lately but have not been doing a good job. I can make excuses all day but I have been on my computer around the clock, with little sleep, + little quality time with my husband so will be my focus this month.

  1. FRIDAYS ARE ME DAYS! This means autoresponder is up + I am working on my business, doing laundry, getting in the kitchen, reading a book, sleeping in…whatever my heart desires!

  2. Start a new workout class! I LOVE TRX + I used to go to a gym that had it. I would go 3-4 times a week. It is such a good workout! Unfortunately, that gym closed so I was no longer taking the classes + struggled finding anything comparable. I recently found one (yay!!) so it’s time to get back into it!

  3. One date a week with Jack! This may be breakfast, coffee, dinner, lunch, etc. Ideally we are phone-less + in a setting we can talk distraction-less!

Wishing you a productive + enjoyable month! Whatever that you may have planned! Have some August goals of your own? I would love to hear them!
